Bernard Milstein MD
Dr. Milstein is a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology
at UTMB at Galveston and Director of the Ophthalmic Laser
Center in League City. He is one of the original investigators
of Photorefractive Keratectomy to correct nearsightedness.
Dr Milstein is truly a "Man of Vision" literally
as well as figuratively speaking as his 1999 award signifies.
In the local community alone he is the "founding father"
of "The Eye Clinic of Texas", Ophthalmic Consultants,
Inc, Galveston Savings and Loan Association, Galveston Racquet
Club, Moody Ophthalmic Laser Center and others.
