Immunization Services include vaccines for children and adults at clinics throughout the county.
Adult vaccinations include tetanus, pneumococcal, and influenza in accordance with state and national guidelines. The immunization clinics are located in Dickinson, Texas City and Galveston. Click here to see the hours each clinic is open.

Funding for immunization activities come from local, state and federal sources. Services offered through the program are:

Every 1st Wednesday of the Month Immunization Clinic hours are 1:30pm - 4:30pm in Texas City and Galveston.

No child is refused immunizations based on inability to pay

Community Partners: The Immunization Advisory Council is an outcome of the Health District Strategic Health Plan and the goal is to engage community stakeholders in improving immunization rates and to advise GCHD on immunization strategies and resources.
