The Immunization Advisory Council is an outcome of
the Health District's
Strategic Health Plan Priority 8. The
goals of the council are:
- To engage community stakeholders in improving
immunization rates throughout Galveston County
- To advise the United Board of Health and Health
District staff on immunization strategies and resources.
Our membership consists of agencies and
businesses that support the vision of effectively
immunizing Galveston county residents and preventing related
infectious diseases.
We are actively seeking volunteers to help in our immunization
