Galveston Co.
– The Galveston County Health District’s WIC (Women, Infants, Children) office currently located in the UMTB Primary Care Pavillion will be moving to a new location on January 3, 2007. The clinic is relocating to the 7th floor of the University Hospital Clinics (UHC) building. Parking for the new clinic will be available in UTMB’s Garage #2.
WIC services will be available:
Mondays and Fridays 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Thursdays 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
3rd Saturday each month 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The WIC Program serves to safeguard the health of low-income women, infants, & children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating, and referrals to health care.
