Protect Yourself with a Flu Shot

The Galveston County Health District encourages all League City residents to get an annual flu shot if they have not already done so to protect themselves and others from illness as part of National Influenza Vaccination Week. 

Where:  Johnny Arolfo Civic Center, 400 West Walker, League City
When:  December 14th, 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Cost:  $20 – Staff will accept Medicare/Medicaid cards for reimbursement

This season’s flu vaccine contains three strains of influenza virus expected to circulate, including H1N1.  The first and most important step in protecting against the flu is to get a flu vaccination.
