Texas City Fire Fighters Donate Funds for Animal Services

Galveston County Health District CEO Dr. Mark Guidry recently wrote a letter of appreciation to members of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 1259 In Texas City after they made a $1,415 donation to the District’s Joe Vickery Animal Shelter in Texas City. The funds to be used for animal care were originally raised to provide care for Ranger, the departments beloved Dalmatian that passed away in 2008.
