Update: GCHD Headquarters Closed for Emergency Electrical Repairs
Release contains revised contact information for GCHD's Galveston vital statistics office.

Galveston County & Cities – The Galveston County Health District’s headquarters at 1207 Oak Street in La Marque remains closed for electrical repairs until further notice.
While repairs are being made patients may call 409-938-7221 to make an appointment at one of the 4Cs clinics, but expect a delay as calls to the District’s Contact Center are being rerouted to an alternate number.
The District is also unable to process requests for birth and death records at their La Marque vital statistics office while repairs are being made. Meanwhile records can be obtained at the Galveston vital statistics office which is fully functioning. The office is located in the Island Community Center at 4700 Broadway. Vital Statistics can be contacted by calling 409-765-2553 or 409-765-2595.
Any other questions concerning services at GCHD Headquarters can be addressed by calling 409-392-0007.
All other Health District services and facilities are open and functioning as usual. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
